WELCOME TO THE TIMBER TOUR

The Timber Tour stands as Ontario's premier provincial freestyle ski competition series, encompassing two disciplines: Moguls and Slopestyle.

Throughout Ontario, athletes partake in a series of competitions designed with an athlete-centred focus that is a community-backed, fair, safe and fun competition circuit.

This event series is specifically tailored to athletes in the Learn to Train and Train to Train stages of the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) and serves as a targeted platform for their growth.

Registration in the Timber Tour competition series gives athletes a place within the Freestyle Ontario RPA Ranking System. For more information on how rankings are calculated, you can find our Freestyle Ontario Selection Criteria document found here.

To preserve the integrity of the competitions and safeguard the athletes' interests, the Timber Tour adheres to a comprehensive set of regulations. A complete listing of these rules can be found here: click here.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please review the below information before proceeding with any registration for the Timber Tour, and review each event invite before registering.

LATE FEE AND DEADLINE: There will be a 25% late fee on all Timber Tour registrations completed after two Sundays prior to the event, and a firm registration deadline the Sunday prior to the event, as we need to meet additional organizational requirements due to COVID-19

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE SUNDAY BEFORE THE EVENT. There will be ZERO TOLERANCE policy for late registrations. For certain events, registration will close earlier due to COVID-19 requirements.

COACH REQUIREMENTS: The Head Coach of each Timber Tour team has completed training in all Comp-Intro courses, and must be coaching at the event. The list of required Comp-Intro training courses is available at https://freestyleontario.ski/coaches. Clubs who do not meet this requirement are encouraged to work with a club that is willing to share their Comp-Intro Trained coach, and to work with Freestyle Ontario on a strategy to meet this requirement in the following year.
