FREESTYLE ONTARIO - ONTARIO ATHLETE SELECTION CRITERIA
The Freestyle Ontario - Ontario Athlete Selection Criteria defines the procedures for selection of Ontario Resident Athletes to ONTARIO PROVINCIAL FREESTYLE SKI TEAMS and QUOTA LIMITED COMPETITIONS OR EVENTS, as well as procedures for ONTARIO RANKING LISTS . All competitive freestyle coaches, athletes, parents, and sport leaders should familiarise themselves with these criteria each season.

EVENT-SPECIFIC SELECTION
Below you will find the the selection policies and rankings for specific events. Before reading this section, please familiarize yourself with the Freestyle Ontario - Ontario Athlete Selection Criteria (see top of page), as it is the foundation for all of the below policies and rankings.
FREESTYLE ONTARIO HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
Athletes interested in the 2025-2026 Ontario Team program should fill out an updated statement of interest which will be available by mid-March 2025. For details on how athletes are selected for the Ontario Team program, please read the Freestyle Ontario - Ontario Athlete Selection Criteria (available at the top of this page).
COMMUNICATION & ENGAGEMENT PLAN
This plan outlines how the High Performance Program Committee (“HPPC”) and the High Performance Selection Committee (“HPSC”) will communicate and engage the Freestyle Ontario (“FO”) community as the committees create, revise, and implement FO’s various athlete selection policies, ranking policies, and event rules.
Any feedback on HPPC/HPSC decisions, policies, or rankings is to be submitted in accordance to this plan.
