FREESTYLE ONTARIO ATHLETE SELECTION

The “Freestyle Ontario - Ontario Athlete Selection Criteria” defines the procedures for selection of Ontario Resident Athletes to ONTARIO PROVINCIAL FREESTYLE SKI TEAMS and QUOTA LIMITED COMPETITIONS OR EVENTS, as well as procedures for ONTARIO RANKING LISTS . All competitive freestyle coaches, athletes, parents, and sport leaders should familiarise themselves with these criteria each season.

CANADA CUP SERIES

Due to event dates and registration timelines, the 2024-25 Ontario Ranking Lists for Canada Cup Spot Allocation will use last season’s 2023-24 Ontario Rankings calculated based on the 2023-24 FO - Ontario Athlete Selection Criteria. The Ontario Ranking Lists for Canada Cup Spot Allocation will include eligible events from November 30, 2023 up to 65 days prior to the 2024-25 Canada Cup event for which athletes are being selected. Only Ontario-resident athletes with an FO Provincial Athlete license or higher will be eligible for this ranking list. FO will update the Ontario Ranking Lists for Canada Cup Spot Allocation 65 days prior to each Canada Cup Series event, or immediately following the last eligible ranking event.
