What is a FREESTYLE ONTARIO MEMBERSHIP?
To ensure the safety of all participants, if you are taking part in a Freestyle Ontario sanctioned event, camp, program, or course, you must have an active membership for the season from Freestyle Ontario.
Freestyle Ontario has transitioned to a new membership platform. Please be advised that members who have not registered for the 2019-20 season, will have to register as NEW MEMBERS, even if you have registered in the past with Freestyle Ontario.

All athletes are REQUIRED to have a current and an applicable license when participating in a Freestyle Ontario sanctioned club and in Freestyle Ontario sanctioned events. Athlete licenses can be upgraded at any time.
Membership licenses are valid from July 1 to June 30 of each year.
CLUB ATHLETE - $50
For entry-level athlete training and for athletes who plan to participate in FUNdamentalz. and/or Freestylerz programs and inter/intra club competitions. DOES NOT INCLUDE ACCIDENT INSURANCE, but accident insurance can be purchased along with the membership.
PROVINCIAL ATHLETE - $127
For athletes who plan to compete in provincial or national level competitions (e.g., Timber Tour, Canada Cup, Jr. Nationals). DOES NOT INCLUDE ACCIDENT INSURANCE, but accident insurance can be purchased along with the membership.
FIS ATHELTE - $286 + 377
For athletes who plan to compete in FIS sanctioned events. It includes a FIS license and mandatory Out-of-country Accident Insurance.
A FIS license is included with the FIS Athlete license. It cannot be purchased separately. To activate your FIS license, you must :
Register online as a FIS athlete.
Once steps 1 and 2 have been completed please allow 5-10 business days for your FIS license to be activated. Once activated, athletes can find their FIS # on the FIS website.
Required for all coaches. Coaches must also have current Freestyle Canada Coaching Certifications and a NCCP number. DOES NOT INCLUDE ACCIDENT INSURANCE.

JUDGE / MAJOR OFFICIAL LICENSE
All judges/major officials that are working with a national level competition (e.g., Timber Tour, Jr. Nationals, Canadian Cup) or provincial level competition are required to have a Judge/Major Official license. DOES NOT INCLUDE ACCIDENT INSURANCE.
Required for Club Admins/Registrars, the Board of Directors of a T/PSO or a Club and Parent Volunteers or Level 1 Officials. Includes access to Snowsports Officials Level 1 online training, and Spark Volunteer Training. DOES NOT INCLUDE ACCIDENT INSURANCE.
Head Coaches do not require this license, if in addition to their coaching duties they do athlete membership checks using the National Database.
